Hi! I’m John, and I created WebReplay out of necessity.

I kept recording session replays hoping they’d unlock insight. Always on the to-do list to watch back — but in reality, I’d never get around to it. And even when I tried, I was either overwhelmed or underwhelmed with what I found.

I built WebReplay initially for myself. I wanted actionable insights from visitors to my sites, delivered to my inbox every morning — something that would help me increase conversion rates and fix issues.

As a 32-year-old product guy living through the AI revolution, I decided to take a stab at vibe coding and try to build a solution. A weekend flew by, and I had my MVP. The first email landed, and I was blown away.

I knew this was too good to keep to myself, so I spun up this site and launched it as a micro SaaS.

But why free?

The cost to run it is relatively low, and honestly — I just want to get it into the hands of people who need it.
